Really enjoy Pete’s energy and enthusiasm. He works at your own pace and gives you good tasks to get on with at home. A great fun person to be around, can have a laugh as well as a serious lesson. I learnt a lot, have taken a lot of skills on permanently now (e.g. using the kick pedal with your heel up constantly!) Keep drumming!

I started taking Drum Lessons with Pete Warner at Positive Drum Tuition almost 2 years ago now. Pete has been a great drum tutor and great inspiration for maintaining a positive drum routine. Through these drum lessons I have learnt to improve my own attitude to drumming. Thanks to Pete, I have since developed positive, productive and ultimately creative ways to improve my coordination, concentration, memory, technique, stamina, speed and musicality.

I’ve been learning drums with Pete Warner for over 4 years now and I can honestly say, I couldn’t ask for a better teacher/tutor. He is persistently looking to improve my knowledge and skill within drumming whilst being a great, positive guy. I would recommend him to anyone looking to start or continue learning how to drum.

‘Pete has a really good understanding of the drum kit and is very good at sharing his knowledge.

‘Pete is a great drumming teacher. His dedication, enthusiasm and approachability mean my son has progressed rapidly in the short time he has been learning with him. He has also managed a successful transition to teaching via zoom and my son has been able to continue with his lessons. He really enjoys his sessions!’ –

‘Pete is kind, nice, great at drums and an amazing teacher.’

‘Pete has a natural rapport with children, bringing warmth, humour and sensitivity to lessons. Pete’s passion for drumming and energy for teaching different styles and techniques is also immediately engaging.

Pete brings out the creativity in my son, especially during improvisation sessions where the musical interplay that happens between them is a joy to witness.  My son is hugely inspired when Pete demonstrates the music he is learning and gets a great sense of accomplishment and pride from learning more formally through graded music books. Thank you Pete!’
